Does it seem any less incredulous we text and talk (dialing is texting) while driving. Statistically, talking on your cell phone while driving (doesn’tmatter if you’re “hands-free”) is as dangerous s driving under the influence (DUI). The second bike rider was clearly checking the weather.
or here’s a story from someone in NYC who noticed, from her basement apartment window, a religious procession moving up the street–they were all holding candles and looking down. Then she realized they were ALL on their cellphones before descending into the subway and (gasp!) losing reception.
